Do you have a bright, positive personality and the drive to provide top-notch customer service? North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). The PCC is the leading example of outstanding customer service for visitors entering the hospital. PCC’s greet clients and patients, check in and out, schedule appointments, and handle phone calls. They manage communications and maintain a smooth flow of operations within the hospital. PCC’s ensure clients receive a positive, memorable experience while visiting North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital. If you are engaging, energetic, and compassionate, this could be the position for you! Being a team player is critical. General skills in administrative duties and computers are an asset. Veterinary experience is a plus. Evening and weekend availability required. Job description
- Greets clients, responds to questions; checks patients in/out, and handles payments.
- Answers phone calls, which may involve screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments. Can manage a multi-line phone system.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail, and texts with excellent communication skills.
- Monitors client waiting area to ensure cleanliness.
- Documents and maintains client and patient information to keep records up to date.
- Escalates complex matters to senior staff.
- Is able to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
Pay:
- Starting at $13/hr. Pay increases with experience and certifications.
