Crest Hill Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. If you enjoy hands-on patient care, a positive culture, and the opportunity to fully utilize your skills—this could be a great fit.

We’re a well-established, 4-doctor small animal hospital with a strong focus on high-quality medicine, client education, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do

Assist with exams, patient care, and client communication

·Work collaboratively with the veterinarian to ensure all animals are being cared for properly and moving through the system efficiently. 

·Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work

·Prepare and administer medications and vaccines

·Collects, prepares, and labels samples for lab testing, culture or microscopic examination

·Maintains Clean examination rooms and treatment areas

What We’re Looking For

·2+ years of veterinary experience and CVT (LVT/RVT) licensure.

·Strong technical skills and attention to detail

·Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment

·Ability to effectively handle and restrain aggressive animals

·Positive, team-oriented mindset

·Passion for patient care and continued growth

Schedule

·Part-Time

·Monday–Friday: 2pm–7pm

·Rotating Saturdays: 8am–2pm

What We Offer

·Pay Range: $19–$23/hour, based on experience and credentials

·Sign on bonus, paid out 90 days after employment
