    • Base hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00 DOE, pending job experience.

Animal Hospital of Falcon is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing veterinary team in Falcon, Colorado. Position Summary

As a Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive experience for both clients and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
  • Conduct in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and post-treatment instructions
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment, surgical, and exam areas
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and patient care
  • Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance preferred
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus
