Abby Pet Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Fresno, CA. Whether you're an experienced Urgent Care or ER veterinarian, or a GP doctor looking to expand your emergency and urgent care skills, we'll help you build a role that aligns with your interests and career goals.

For more than 65 years, Abby Pet Hospital has been a trusted part of the Fresno community. Our recently renovated 8,000-square-foot hospital is home to a highly skilled team, providing everything from wellness care to urgent and emergency services under one roof.

Unlike many traditional GP practices, our doctors routinely manage urgent and emergency cases, creating an ideal environment for veterinarians who enjoy medical variety, critical thinking, and opportunities to build advanced clinical skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $140,000-$180,000, based on experience, plus significant production potential
  • Housing assistance/stipend during your first 12 months

Who We're Looking For

  • Open to all experience levels
  • A veterinarian who enjoys urgent care and emergency medicine, or is interested in expanding into higher-acuity cases
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and medical decision-making
  • A doctor seeking flexibility, with full-time (3+ days/week) and part-time opportunities available
  • DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
  • ECFVG or PAVE certification, if applicable
