Herndon Animal Medical Center, AAHA-accredited general practice, has been proudly serving the Herndon, VA community for over 25 years! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A veterinary assistant with 1-2 years of experience, though we will welcome someone with limited experience and offer a strong training program to help you grow.
  • Comfortable talking and interacting with clients.
  • A team player who values a collaborative, respectful environment.

In this position, you will learn: proper restraint, how to assist the doctors in appointments, surgical before and after care, venipuncture, positioning for radiographs, Cold Laser treatment protocols, how to run in house lab services and reference lab preparation, our clinic software, client communication, and anything else you'd like.
