We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant who shares our passion for animals, values teamwork, and is excited to continue developing their skills alongside an experienced and supportive medical team.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting our veterinarians and licensed technicians. Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians during examinations and treatments
  • Safely restraining patients for procedures
  • Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
  • Collecting patient histories and obtaining vital signs
  • Assisting with laboratory testing and diagnostics
  • Preparing surgical patients and monitoring recovery
  • Educating clients on basic patient care and preventative medicine
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and hospital areas
  • Working collaboratively to keep patient care and hospital workflow running smoothly

  • Has previous veterinary experience (preferred)

  • Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work

  • Is eager to learn and accepts feedback as an opportunity for growth

Compensation:
Base hourly rate of $18-22 DOE
