Animal Care Clinic of Homer is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. If you enjoy hands-on patient care, a positive culture, and the opportunity to fully utilize your skills—this could be a great fit.
We’re a well-established, 3-doctor small animal hospital with a strong focus on high-quality medicine, client education, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with exams, patient care, and client communication
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
- Support surgery (prep, induction, and anesthesia monitoring)
- Take radiographs (including dental)
- Administer medications and vaccines
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of veterinary experience or CVT (LVT/RVT)
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Passion for patient care and continued growth
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm
- Rotating Saturdays: 8am–1pm
