We are looking for a skilled compassionate veterinary assistant to join our team of dedicated animal care professionals. This position requires daily flexability in the role as a floater; assisting clients, nurses and patients where needed. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping is a must. Great communications skills, able to work with a team but also self motivated is required. Some Vet-Med experience is necessary for this position. Experience will influence hourly wage; wage for an uncertifed veterinary assistant can range from $18.00-$19.75 /hour and is open for discussion based on pertinent education and/or skill level. This position will begin part-time (under 30 hrs week) with the possibility of full-time depending on business needs. Benefits include employee discounts after 6 months of employment. C.E. opportunities and weekends (Sat/Sun) off.
