We are a fun and fast paced animal hospital looking for a Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative- floating position to join our team! 20-40 hours per week. Flexible schedule. 3* Saturdays per month- either 8-2pm or 12-5pm. 

We have two locations- Loveland and Blanchester- 15 minutes apart on State Route 28.

We provide high quality care to dogs, cats, exotics, reptiles, as well as sheep, goats, and birds.  

We have a diverse group of highly experienced DVM's that perform extensive soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, including TPLO's, lateral cruciate suture repair, orthopedic plates, pin/wire, and external fixatures. We also do many routine spay/neuters, and emergency surgeries such as caesareans, pyometras, exploratories, splenectomies, and more! There is not much that one of our great doctors cannot do.

Skills:

Primary duties include:

Exam room preparation: Client communication and education about wellness, vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention. Draw up vaccines, blood collection, fecal and urine collection.

Surgery preparation, recovery, invoicing and surgical notes. 

Hospitalization care.

Drug calculations, SC injections. 

Client communication, medical records.

Laboratory skills: I.H. IDEXX Chemistry/CBC and we have the Sedivue for urinalysis!

Ear cytology, skin smears, urinalysis, needle aspirates (with advanced training).

Love of animals!

We are a dynamic and fun team that provides a great learning environment and many growth opportunities. We have 7 doctors and a heavy technical staff so that we can provide top notch care to our patients.

Seven Hills Pet Clinic Loveland and Blanchester keeps up with the newest technology and education. We have a therapy laser, surgical laser, ultrasound, digital radiography and digital dental radiography. We see urgent care and wellness appointments and have surgery and dental blocks every day during the week.

CLOSED SUNDAY and all major holidays.

Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate in all departments in the hospital. 

Vacation and PTO for FT employees. Paid holidays for FT.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour- based on experience****

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week- PT or FT position. Saturday requirement. Up to 2 shifts until 8 pm/ week may be required.
