Rutland Animal Hospital, a GP Small Animal hospital located in Mechanicsville, Virginia (Greater Richmond area), is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team.
We are looking for a confident, kind, and energetic teammate who will strive to build relationships within the team and community. We are a progressive, small animal practice located within a rapidly growing and prospering commercial/residential neighborhood. You will be joining a collaborative and tenured team with a supportive culture.
**Open to NEW GRAD candidates -- great Mentorship Program!!
**$100K-$130K Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)
**NO WEEKEND HOURS!!
Rutland Animal Hospital offers superior and convenient veterinary care for dogs and cats right in the Mechanicsville, Atlee, and Chamberlynes neighborhoods. We offer our dedicated client base a high level of care in a wide range of services. Rutland Animal Hospital boasts four exam rooms, surgical suite, digital radiography, and state-of-the-art dental radiology, along with access to endoscopy and laparoscopy equipment.

About The Hospital:
- 4 exam rooms and a fully equipped surgery suite
- Digital radiographs
- Dental radiographs
- Ultrasound
- Cold laser
- Laparoscopy - available
- Endoscopy - available
- Full in-house labs with IDEXX equipment
- AVImark Paper-lite record keeping
- Knowledgeable, competent, and tenured staff

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing
- Strong medical and soft tissue surgical skills, with ultrasound skills a plus
- Exemplary communications skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, compassionate individual
- Positively represent the hospital to our clients and community
