What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for every client and pet who walks through our doors. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Scheduling appointments and managing daily patient flow
  • Answering phones and assisting clients with questions and service needs
  • Processing payments and handling client transactions
  • Maintaining accurate patient and client records
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and email communications
  • Supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks
  • Keeping the lobby and reception area welcoming, organized, and clean

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology is helpful
  • Previous veterinary, kennel, boarding, or animal care experience is preferred
  • Experience working with dogs and other companion animals
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, pets, and team members
