Town and Country Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our growing small animal practice. Whether you are a credentialed technician, experienced assistant, or veterinary professional looking to continue developing your skills, we’d love to connect.

- 5 full-time doctors with an additional DVM joining in 2026

- Small animal practice treating dogs and cats
- Strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care
What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory testing including bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized patients and assist with patient recovery and critical care
- Perform venipuncture, radiographs, and general nursing care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans
- Support daily hospital operations and collaborate with the veterinary team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic setting required
- Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience welcomed
- Licensed / Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (LVT/RVT/CVT) encouraged to apply, but not required
- Strong technical skills and willingness to continue learning
- Responsible, dependable, and flexible team player
- Compassionate approach to patient care and client communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment
Hospital Hours
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays required: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
