Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician who loves surgery, anesthesia, and hands-on patient care? All Creatures Animal Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona is growing and looking for a skilled Veterinary Technician with strong surgical experience to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable supporting patients throughout the surgical process—from preparation and induction through anesthesia monitoring and recovery—and who wants to continue building their skills alongside an experienced, collaborative team.

As a teaching hospital, we prioritize continuous learning and development. Our team actively collaborates, shares knowledge, and supports one another in strengthening both technical and professional skills.

At All Creatures Animal Clinic, we are an AAHA-accredited hospital providing high-quality care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets (excluding avians). With 8 DVMs and a large, experienced support team, technicians have the opportunity to fully utilize their skills while continuing to grow professionally.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures
  • Assist with induction, intubation, anesthesia, and surgical preparation
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals throughout procedures
  • Support safe, attentive post-operative recovery
  • Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures
  • Administer medications, treatments, and fluids as directed
  • Place IV catheters and collect laboratory samples
  • Run in-house diagnostics
  • Monitor hospitalized patients
  • Perform patient restraint and low-stress handling techniques
  • Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventative care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment and surgical area
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and client communication

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous veterinary technician experience required
  • Strong surgical and anesthesia experience
  • Confidence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical patient care
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred, but not required
  • Strong technical and client communication skills
  • Ability to recognize changes in patient status and communicate effectively with the medical team
  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented approach
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital
  • Desire to continue learning and developing advanced technical skills
