Are you a skilled Veterinary Technician looking to grow your career in General Practice? Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Plainfield, IL. As a 20-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital, we provide top-tier veterinary care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to growth within our GP department, we are expanding our team!

What We’re Looking For:

· A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician with 1+ years of experience.

· A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

· We are seeking someone with open and flexible availability. The GP is closed on Sundays. Current hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While these are our current hours, they may be extended in the future, so candidates must be willing to accommodate potential changes in the schedule. Saturday availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist veterinarians in general practice appointments

· Perform blood draws

· Educate clients on preventative care and treatment plans.

· Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.

· Provide exceptional patient care and client communication.
