Pacific Veterinary Hospital has proudly served the greater Portland area since 1953. We are a well-established 4 doctor, small animal practice that provides the highest standard of care to our patients, and unbelievably inventive customer service to our large clientele. We offer everything from wellness, to comprehensive medical treatment with state-of-the-art equipment (including on-site laboratory machines, digital radiology, ultrasound, and Cornerstone veterinary software).

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience…oh my!

  • A Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in great standing to practice in the state of Oregon.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • The ability to delegate responsibility and achieve maximum results with hospital team members.
  • Must be capable of superior decision making and problem solving.
  • The ability to coach, develop, and motivate colleagues.
  • Demonstrates time and task management.
  • Exemplifies professional and courteous presentation all clients and team members.
  • 3+ years of small animal surgical experience preferred.
