What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Surgical Technician, you will:

  • Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures, ensuring proper aseptic technique and patient safety.
  • Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals before, during, and after surgery.
  • Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate surgical and anesthesia records.
  • Support inventory management for surgical supplies and medications.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience, with surgical and anesthesia skills preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Passion for advancing your knowledge in surgical procedures and anesthesia.

Schedule

  • Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays
  • Normal business hours: M–F 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sat 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Compensation: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and skills.
