Emergency Veterinary Assistant -- Multiple Full-Time Shifts Available

We're looking for Emergency Veterinary Assistants to join our collaborative and supportive ER team.  Whether you're an experienced ER assistant or an assistant looking to expand your emergency medicine skills, we provide an environment where learning, teamwork, and high-quality medicine come first.

Available Shifts

Sunday-Wednesday, Day Shift

Wednesday-Saturday, Day Shift

Overnight, Days vary

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing exceptional emergency care
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and recognizes changes in condition
  • Safely restrain patients and perform nursing care
  • Prepare treatment areas, equipment and supplies
  • Obtain patient histories and communicate compassionately with clients
  • Perform laboratory sample collection and diagnostics
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
  • Work collaboratively with a team that supports one another through every case

Who We're Looking For

  • Previous veterinary assistant experience (ER experience is a plus but not required)
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for learning and developing new skills
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
