Oak Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Veterinary
Technician (RVT) to join our highly respected team in Vacaville. We're looking
for a technician leader who is passionate about patient care, enjoys mentoring
others, and wants to play an active role in supporting both our medical team
and hospital operations.

What You'll Do
·Serve as a leader and mentor for the technician team
·Coordinate daily treatment and surgical workflows
·Partner closely with veterinarians as their right-hand support person
·Assist with technician scheduling and workflow management
·Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
·Continue utilizing your technical skills through surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and advanced patient care
·Help maintain medical quality standards and operational efficiency
·Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive
hospital culture
What We're Looking For
·Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required
·Minimum of 3 years of veterinary technician experience
·Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred
·Strong anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry skills
·Experience with low-stress patient handling techniques
·Excellent communication and organizational abilities
·Ability to mentor, coach, and support fellow team members
·Positive, approachable, and team-oriented personality
·Dependable leader who earns trust and leads by example
·Passion for patient care, teamwork, and
continuous improvement
Schedule
·Full-time, 40 hours per week
·Monday through Friday
·No weekends
·No holidays
