Medical Director (MDVM)

BridgeMill Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and collaborative Medical Director/Managing Veterinarian to lead our well-established general practice in Canton, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing gold-standard medicine, mentoring others, and working as a true unit with their team—while maintaining autonomy and balance.

The Role: Medical Director

As Medical Director, you’ll balance clinical practice with leadership, helping guide medical standards while fostering a positive, collaborative culture. You’ll work closely with fellow doctors and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care while mentoring and developing the team.

About the clinic

Our 9,600 sq. ft. hospital is spacious, well-equipped, and designed to support quality medicine without feeling rushed. We are a traditional small animal general practice offering comprehensive preventative and diagnostic care in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Facility highlights include:

  • 3 exam rooms (plus a 4th flexible-use room for additional services)
  • Dedicated surgical suite with 1 surgery table
  • 2 wet tables in the treatment area
  • Digital radiography & digital dental radiography
  • IDEXX in-house laboratory and reference lab support
  • Paper-lite hospital using Avimark
  • Portable ultrasound through Oncura with additional diagnostic capabilities, including echocardiography

Services We Provide

  • Preventative medicine and wellness care
  • Dentistry and soft tissue surgery
  • Cold laser therapy
  • Acupuncture and aquapuncture (vitamin B injections)
  • Ultrasound and advanced diagnostics
