Kings Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Manager to lead our technician team in a high-quality General Practice and Urgent Care veterinary hospital in Loveland, Ohio, just outside Cincinnati.

RVT Manager Responsibilities

This is a hands-on Veterinary Technician Manager role overseeing approximately 20 veterinary technicians and kennel assistants.

You will:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the technical team
  • Conduct performance reviews and development plans
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback
  • Manage team scheduling and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain a 30,000-foot operational overview of hospital flow
  • Work on the floor assisting in patient care and procedures
  • Foster positive team dynamics
  • Navigate tough conversations professionally and confidently
  • Drive accountability and engagement

This role is ideal for a strong communicator who can motivate a team, manage conflict constructively, and elevate hospital performance.




Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary medicine
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience managing teams preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable conducting reviews and performance conversations
  • Experience in general practice and/or urgent care preferred



Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $52,000–$60,000 annually (based on experience)
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Occasional weekend availability may be needed for inventory or special operational needs, but routine weekend coverage is not required.
