We are looking for an experienced technician who is well rounded in various aspects of patient care (exam room appointments, drop offs, hospitalized cases, surgery/dentals, etc). Previous surgery experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience performing dental prophylaxis and x-rays. However, we are happy and willing to train the right person!

We are a busy 3 doctor practice, and our mission is to provide quality, compassionate patient care and five-star service to our clients, team members, and community.

Technician duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely restrain patients using low-stress measures
  • Perform x-rays
  • Prep for and assist with surgeries
  • Perform venipuncture
  • Place IV catheters
  • Maintain accurate electronic records
  • Obtain patient history and educate clients about common pet health concerns
  • Must also perform front desk operations such as answer the phones and schedule appointments
  • Clean enclosures, feed, and walk pets
  • At least 1 year of experience in assisting with surgery is preferred, but we will train the right person
  • Experience with Idexx/Cornerstone a plus
  • Required to lift approximately 50 lbs and work on your feet most of the day
  • Available to work full-time; weekdays until 6:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 8 am – 1 pm
