Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Full-time | 30–40 hours per week | $18-$22/hour based on experience

My Pet’s Veterinary Center is looking for a friendly, dependable Veterinary Receptionist/Client Service Representative to join our team!

We are a small-animal veterinary practice with a supportive team and a manageable schedule. There are no overnight shifts, and weekend availability is limited to two short Saturday shifts per month.

Schedule

• 30–40 hours per week

• Weekday shifts, including some evenings

• Alternating Saturdays from 7:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

• No Sundays

• No overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and patients

• Answering phones and responding to client questions

• Scheduling appointments

• Checking clients in and out

• Processing payments

• Reviewing appointment and patient information

• Communicating clearly with clients, doctors, and the medical team

• Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front desk

• Providing compassionate support during both routine and emotional visits

• Animal handling/restraint

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Dependable, organized, and able to multitask

• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software

• Able to remain calm and professional during busy or sensitive situations

• A positive, team-oriented attitude

• Veterinary reception or animal-care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

• Previous reception, hospitality, medical office, or customer service experience is a plus
