As a growing hospital, we pride ourselves on a supportive, team-focused culture where compassion, professionalism, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. We care deeply for our patients—and the people who love them—and we’re looking for a Veterinary Receptionist who shares that same passion.

The Role

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as the welcoming face and voice of our hospital. This role is essential to creating a smooth, organized, and positive experience for clients and their pets. You’ll work closely with our medical team to ensure daily operations run efficiently while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth, empathy, and professionalism

  • Schedule appointments and manage a busy, multi-doctor calendar

  • Answer phones, emails, and messages promptly and courteously

  • Maintain accurate client and patient records, including medical and insurance information

  • Assist with check-in and check-out, including payment processing

  • Provide clear and helpful information about services, products, and procedures

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and pet-friendly reception area

  • Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to support efficient clinic flow

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

  • Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer proficiency for scheduling, records, and payments

  • Prior animal care experience is a plus (pet care, grooming, training, animal husbandry, etc.)

  • Knowledge of veterinary procedures, lab work, or critical care is a plus, but not required

Why Join Our Team

  • Competitive compensation based on experience

  • Consistent, but flexible scheduling

  • Paid vacation, sick time, and floating holidays

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage

  • Excellent employee discount on services and products

  • Full-time position with opportunities for growth as our practice continues to expand

  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment

  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pets and their families every day
