The Opportunity
As Hospital Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Managing Veterinarian and leadership team to oversee daily operations and guide the hospital’s overall performance. You’ll play a key role in driving financial success, optimizing workflows, and fostering a positive, supportive culture where both patients and team members can thrive.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires regular on-site presence to effectively support staff, clients, and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of hospital P&L, with accountability for financial performance
Partner with regional leadership to analyze trends and forecast operational needs
Oversee inventory, accounts receivable, payroll, and cost controls
Develop staff schedules and manage labor expenses
Lead process improvement initiatives across client service, operations, and administration
Champion change and share best practices
Implement new technologies and operational initiatives
Establish, promote, and protect hospital culture
Track and maintain licensure for all DVMs
Coach team members, provide feedback, and navigate difficult conversations
Model and reinforce exceptional client service standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
3–5 years of management experience, including customer service leadership
Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based environment strongly preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually
