Candidates must possess excellent communication and people skills and a positive demeanor. The ability to work well as a team and multitask in a fast paced environment is essential! Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital and animal handling are a plus. We encourage personal growth of staff and expansion of client services.
Responsibilities include: Customer service/client communications, multi-line phone handling, computer proficiency, animal restraint and handling, animal care, dispensing medications, collecting/preparing laboratory samples, assisting veterinarians, basic grounds and building maintenance/cleaning, attending staff meetings, and overall, being a GREAT team player!
Benefits: Gain experience in a friendly, learning environment and work directly with our veterinarians and technical staff as well as getting hands on experience with pets and owners. Already a CVT - use your skills! We are a busy practice and our technical staff is highly valued for their knowledge and skills. Pre-vet or Pre-vet tech student?

Requirements: Courteous and professional demeanor, articulate and friendly, excellent communication skills and ability to listen, general computer proficiency, comfortable with animal handling, desire to learn, performing physical aspects including holding and lifting 40+ lbs animals and bags of food. Some evenings and weekends are required (on rotation).
